Orange Soda Taste Sensation…

One the the earliest examples of Music Branding that I can recall, is this late 70’s early 80’s campaign by Sunkist which rewrote the lyrics to the Beach Boys “Good Vibrations.”  I remember this commercial as a child and actually hearing this version before the original track.  Watch the original here:

In 2007, Sunkist announced that it was going to re-do this idea with newer artists:  While I cannot track down a commercial, I found this on YouTube.  Interesting attempt to update the idea.  Curiously, no mention of an “orange soda taste sensation” – what do you think?
